The belt can be worn whilst showering or swimming. In cases of post operative recovery it is recommended to remove both pads. Size by waist measurement.

This support is well made. The waist belt is easily fastened with Velcro tabs around the back

The groin straps are sewn at the side/rear and pass through the legs and also have velcro tabs which allow the straps to be tightened or loosened as desired to provide optimum comfort. The vertical fixing point of the Velcro is on the front of each side of the knuckle that supports the hernia and makes it easily adjustable.

The knuckles or pads are made out of soft but supportive foam both of which can be removed or put back in place in pockets as desired.
