The 66fit Cold Compression Wrap combines the benefits of pneumatic compression and cold therapy to help reduce swelling, minimise pain and discomfort. Ideal for use post injury, post operatively or as part of a rehabilitation program.

Features:

  • Removable cold gel pack is stored in the freezer until ready to use
  • Cold gel pack is reusable, non-toxic and leak proof
  • Air inflation pump to apply desired level of compression
  • Adjustable wrap with velcro closures for a one size fit

Instructions for use

Cold Therapy:

  1. Remove gel pack from the wrap and place into the freezer for minimum of 2 hours.
  2. When ready to use attach the cold gel pack to the wrap using the velcro tabs.
  3. Use protective barrier (such as cloth or towel) between the skin and cold pack. Do not apply gel pack directly to skin.
  4. Place the wrap with gel pack on the treatment area and firmly secure the large velcro strap. 
  5. To protect skin - treatment time should not exceed 15 - 20 minutes at a time.
  6. Allow a minimum of 60 minutes between each treatment session of cold therapy, to help protect tissue & skin at the treatment area.

Air Compression Therapy:

  1. Locate the ON/OFF valve on the exterior of the wrap.
  2. Connect the bulb/pump hose connector to the valve by turning clockwise.
  3. Turn the valve to "ON" (open).
  4. Using your hand (grip) manually compress the bulb/pump intermittently to fill the wraps outer bladder to a desired and comfortable setting. To reduce the amount of air pumped into the wrap press the "black button" below the bulb/pump to release air. Adjust air pressure to a desired and comfortable setting.
  5. Once the desired air pressure is set turn the valve to "OFF" (closed).
  6. Disconnect the bulb/pump and tubing by turning the hose connector counterclockwise.
  7. To remove the air in the wrap bladder simply turn the valve to "ON" (open).
  8. To remove the wrap pull the velcro tabs/straps to release and remove wrap.
  9. Store wrap components (wrap, gel pack, bulb/pump and hosing) appropriately in a convenient area for re-use.
